SBI PO 2017 Exam Eligibility Criteria

Minimum age of the Candidate should be 21 years and Maximum age is 30 years as on 1st April 2017.
Minimum Educational Qualifications: Graduation in any discipline from a recognised University or any equivalent qualification recognised as such by the Central Government. Those who are in the Final year/Semester of their Graduation may also apply provisionally subject to the condition that, if called for interview, they will have to produce proof of having passed the graduation examination on or before 01.07.2017. Candidates having integrated dual degree (IDD) certificate should ensure that the date of passing the IDD is on or before 01.07.2017. Candidates possessing qualification of Chartered Accountant may also apply.

SBI PO Exam 2017 will be conducted in following three phases -
1. Prliminary exam
2. Mains Exam (Objective + Descriptive)
3. Interview

How to Apply Online for SBI PO Exam 2017

Candidates can apply online for SBI PO 2017 from 07.02.2017 to 06.03.2017
Candidates will be required to register themselves online through Bank's website sbi.co.in/careers or www.statebankofindia.com/careers.
After registration candidates are required to pay the requisite application fee through online mode by using debit card/ credit card/Internet Banking

1. IDFC MD Vikram Limaye the new CEO, MD of NSE

  • The board of directors of India’s National Stock Exchange (NSE) has selected IDFC chief Vikram Limaye as its new CEO (chief executive officer) and MD (Managing Director).
  • However, formalities are to be completed at IDFC’s end.
  • Limaye is a Chartered Accountant and an MBA from Wharton Schooland over 25 years of experience working with global investment banks, international commercial bank and global accounting firms

Economic Survey 2016-17: Highlights & Analysis

Today, the Budget session of Parliament has begun and President Pranab Mukherjee addressed the joint sitting of the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha.The Economic Survey has tabled in Parliament by Finance minister Arun Jaitley on the first day of Budget Session. Economic Survey says economic growth to return to normal as new currency notes in required quantities come back into circulation and follow-up action on demonetisation is taken.

The CPI based core inflation remained stable in the current fiscal year averaging around 5 per cent. The Economic Survey says that the rupee performed better than most of the other emerging market economies.The total area coverage under Rabi crops as on 13.01.2017 for 2016-17 is 616.2 lakh hectares which is 5.9 per cent higher than that in the corresponding week of last year. The area coverage under Gram (Channa Dal) as on 13.01.2017 for 2016-17 is 10.6 percent higher than that in the corresponding week of last year.
